Spring 2008

This coming Thursday May 24th , 9:15PM at the Parkway EL CERRITO Speakeasy Theater see Rendition as part of the P.O.V. Bay Area Animation Festival organized by ri crawford.

If you're in England, Rendition will be shown live as part of British Music Information Society's Cutting Edge Tour for the Keynote+ ensemble beginning in Corsham, UK Friday, 29th of June 2007 and at the Open Cinema festival in St. Petersburg in August.

This weekend Feb. 2nd and Feb. 3rd 2007 at CounterPULSE in San Francisco is the MilkBar's 2007 Live Film Festival. Come see Rendition locally as well as over 15 other great films. Details on MilkBar website.
Just passed is a new performance installation at Dance Mission created by choreographer Paige Sorvillo, with music by George Cremaschi and film by myself.

Rendition (a new film) developed w/ music / soundscape for piano and harpsichord by composer Evelyn Ficarra premiered in London, UK October 26-7, 2006 as part of the Cutting Edge series presented by the British Music Information Society.
Open Cinema Festival: August 2006-- featured pieces from this winter's MilkBar film festival will show as part of the OPEN cinema festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.

This Saturday features an evening of music, performance and film curated by 21 Grand’s Jan/Feb gallery artist Ian Winters featuring live work by some of the performers and musicians involved in my photographic work, as well as new film work with live music.
The show includes performances from choreographers Paige Sorvillo, Mary Armentrout, Isak Immanuel (all long-time subjects and collaborators); a gallery soundscape created for the evening by composer Evelyn Ficarra (part of an ongoing research project around creating combined sonic and visual environments); Transit: a collaboration between myself and Merlin Coleman featuring her cello/voice composition and a live film/performance; a series of short films and a few little ditties from NYC by Allen Wilner.
